West Norfolk businesses can apply for rural grant

Completed by 31 Dec 2024

Are you looking to develop new products or facilities that benefit the local economy? Contact us as your project may be eligible for the West Norfolk Rural Business Capital Grant.

Owner Leslie Fletcher from Smelly Cat Creations near King’s Lynn has received a grant for a new CNC machine to increase productivity. The precision engineering equipment has also supported the Norfolk Maker to broaden his offer and develop his rapid prototyping, laser cutting & engraving and 3D Printing business.

Leslie said: “The New Anglia business grant has helped me fast track my manufacturing business to new levels with the introduction of a new larger Stoney CNC Exec 8 machine – jobs I couldn’t take on in the past due to size limits. I’m now able to offer customers much greater options and solutions. The grant’s help has been a great stepping stone to increase productivity.”
