Suffolk Businesses Flock to Face-to-Face Events

SUFFOLK – Businesses across Suffolk are rediscovering the power of face-to-face interaction, with a surge in attendance and demand for networking and training events over the past six months. A highly anticipated event in Eye next week underscores the growing popularity of in-person gatherings.

“Our networking is membership-free, offering connectivity and access to further upskilling,” says Nick Pandolfi, who hosts networking events across Suffolk. The appeal of these accessible and valuable connections is clear, with events regularly drawing strong numbers.

This resurgence in face-to-face engagement extends beyond networking. Pauline Prockter, Program Director for the Suffolk team at the New Anglia Growth Hub, highlights the success of recent initiatives. “Our recent events, led by Bev Hurley CBE, have delivered scale-up business support, and we are repeating this hugely popular growth accelerator series of workshops in Bury St Edmunds on March 8 and March 22.”

Prockter also noted the team’s responsiveness to client feedback. “Client feedback showed that weekend events were also in demand, and we have now added this option to the program available across Suffolk.” This flexibility reflects the Growth Hub’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the business community.

The Suffolk team plans to continue expanding its offerings with a range of further face-to-face training, networking, and drop-in sessions. They encourage businesses interested in staying informed about upcoming events to sign up for alerts to avoid missing out on these valuable opportunities.
