Ensuring our website is accessible to as wide an audience as possible
- Accessibility audit and statement – to be completed by end of March 2021 on all group websites (legal requirement by end of June 2021)
- We will use active links on our website, in our documents and newsletters (so find out about types of information rather than click here)
- We will ensure our text is easy to understand – around 25 words per sentence, 5 lines per paragraph
- We will ensure alt text is added to all images on our website and used on social media
- We will subtitle our videos
- We will ensure at least a 20decibel difference between backing tracks and speech in any videos
- We will ensure sufficient colour contrast in our design
