Suffolk Businesses Connect and Learn About Grant Opportunities
Ipswich businesses came together on Friday, April 12th, for a successful networking event hosted by the New Anglia Growth Hub’s Suffolk team. This free event, held in the heart of Ipswich, marked the first gathering of its kind in the town for over three years. The delivery partner for the Suffolk element of the Growth Hub, YTKO, have rolled out new networking events across Suffolk.
More than thirty businesses attended the informal event, which provided a valuable platform for connection and information sharing. A key highlight was a presentation by Mark Longman, Senior Growth Advisor, who briefed attendees on the latest round of grants offered by Ipswich Borough Council. These grants are specifically designed to support business growth and initiatives promoting net zero environmental impact.
“We were delighted by the strong turnout for this event,” commented Longman. “This was the first networking event we’ve delivered in Ipswich since the New Anglia Growth Hub transitioned to new contract delivery partners. The keen interest demonstrates the demand for this type of gathering among local businesses.” said Mark Longman.
